Art Tip 96:
Placing Paintings in Your HomeTake care where you place paintings in your home. Apart from ensuring humidity and temperature levels, make sure that they are located where people do not pass by often. As such, a hall will not be a good place because people can knock them off while hurrying out, taking off their coat, or accidentally hit them with an umbrella or cane. Placing a painting in the kitchen is also a not a good idea even if the painting is about food. Pretty soon the heat, steam and smells of the food will cling to the painting.
