Art Tip 86:
Storing Paintings - Don't just Stick them in the BasementPaintings require care from start to finish. From the selection process, to its framing, hanging and storage - paintings require care. As humidity plays an important role in ensuring that paintings are preserved, don't just stick your paintings in the basement or attic. Check where humidity and temperature levels are more likely to be constant and store the paintings there. If this is not possible, try to store paintings in an area where you can install temperature regulators. Written by: Rhea Nievera |
