Into Buying and Selling Paintings?If you are an entrepreneur and want to get into the wonderful world of buying and selling paintings, here's a tip - landscape paintings are more sellable than seascape paintings especially if they fall under a well-known art genre (e.g., Victorian, Hudson River, Barbizon, etc.). Religious paintings are also tough to sell. If you are really into less popular painting themes, create a niche and focus on that. So instead of adding one or two religious paintings or prints into your collection, just focus on religious paintings and nothing else. That way, you end up catering one specific market.
