Art Tip 75:
Paintings and Bubble WrapsSadly, many paintings are ruined not just by incorrect cleaning methods but by carelessness in actual handling - lifting, moving or just the simple act of setting a painting down. To protect paintings at all times, protect them by putting some 'padding' around them. You can use bubble wraps, a blanket, foam or even a towel. These should not be used to cover or wrap the painting. They should just be used on the edges of the painting or laid on the surface where the painting will be put on. Written by: Rhea Nievera |
