Paintings and White Gloves

No, this is not a surgery procedure. But the truth is, unframed paintings are really very sensitive. As times passes, no matter how you protect them, there will be some wear and tear. So if you are thinking of putting a painting down for a while for cleaning or storage, put on white art cotton gloves. Avoid touching the unframed painting without gloves even if you have clean hands. This may leave a corrosive residue on the artwork.
