Paintings Art Gallerys: Talking Shop
A desire for paintings does not necessarily mean you have ‘the eye’ to spot great artworks. Granted, one of the most common rules is to trust your eye; it never hurts to talk to those considered as painting authorities. For starters, why not visit a couple of paintings art gallerys? Once you’ve found a few that you really like, befriend the gallery owner and staff – they love to talk shop and are almost always willing to share what they know about painting movements, artists, and other information.
