Bridal Portraits - To Cherish and To Hold...

Bridal portraits... Here comes the bride... all dressed in white...

There are a thousand and one items to be done during a wedding and even though this is a union between man and wife, it seems that everything is centered only on the bride - how she looks, the way she smiles, her radiance or glow, even her shoes! Needless to say, a wedding is one of those times in your life where your every move is captured on film (or reel). However, despite the growing trend of using video, photos will always be a part of any wedding and setting them in the right wedding picture frames is equally important.

Bridal Portraits - It's All About You

Girl, it's YOUR day. And even if you had a thousand errands to run before THE day, remember that your face will be photographed like it has never been before during your wedding. So if you have decided to have a bridal portrait created based on one of the photographs taken, ensure that you are in your best element. How?

First of all, try to relax not just on the wedding day but several days BEFORE that. Dark circles or bulges under the eyes are not pretty!

Second, indulge and go to the spa for a FULL session of pampering before your wedding day. The stress removed during the spa session works wonders

Third, practice. During your bridal gown fittings, check your most flattering sides or poses and make a mental note to ask someone or the photographer to 'snap away' during those times you indicate.

Fourth, don't be so conscious all the time. People can spot a forced ⁄ fake smile or pose a mile away.

Fifth, smile! smile! smile!
