Abstract Art - Natural and Not...

Abstract art can be explained in many different and intelligent ways. What is it for you and me can be different from the artist's own viewpoint. Abstraction in art has many forms but the three major forms that stood out through the years are Cubism, Neoplasticism, and Abstract Expressionism.

Abstract Art - Limitless Exploration and Experimentation in Artworks

They can paint everything and anything under the sun as they see it and not how they really look in real life. Most artists put emphasis on the forms and lines that make up their subjects, others on their brush strokes, and some on the colors and textures of their artworks. Though many people cannot fully understand abstracts, abstraction in art still progressed in America, Germany, France, and other countries.

Though many people believed that Pablo Picasso, Piet Mondrian, Mark Rothko and Jackson Pollock were the most famous and influential artists of the art movement, Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944) is still considered the first creator of an abstract work. He had a theory that color and music are very much related. He painted his artworks so he can make the colors "sing" or move in a certain way.

Other artists of abstraction have their own styles. But what's evident from all of their artworks is the indirect way of depicting their subjects. Their art abstractions may seem too different from their models. What they see on their minds and imaginations and what they feel deep inside of their hearts are usually what come out of their art works.

What's abstraction? What's art? Abstraction artists fully explained the difference between art and nature. While many artists aim to produce the exact replicas of their subjects in their natural and original forms, the artists of abstraction aim to produce the feelings, concepts, and ideas their subjects provoke and symbolize from their own imaginations and beliefs.
