Abstract Artist Works - Demanding Art
Abstract artist works
should have significant qualities that can keep the viewer's interest and make them look more closely at the art works. Even simple
pencil drawings of
abstract artists can arouse a response from the audience. Many artists find
abstract art as one of the most difficult art movements. Knowledge and talent in drawing is simply not enough.
Abstract art works can be very demanding emotionally, mentally, and physically. An abstract artwork may not have a recognizable subject, but it demands that as an artist, you should be able to understand passions and emotions. You should also have great sensitivity for the arrangement and combination of colors, line, forms, and textures.
Though they can use various concrete and visual subjects,
abstract artists try to create
pencil drawing and painting art works of intangible things such as sound and emotion. You may have a hard time understanding and appreciating abstract creations. Give yourself time to interact with an abstract artwork. Don't give up easily when you can't seem to understand what the abstract painting want to say. Don't try to figure out familiar shapes or features from it. Let the emotion or message emerge from it until it touches an answering cord within you.
Abstract artists do not necessarily want their artworks to look beautiful. They want their artworks to make the viewer
feel beautiful, be touched, or be moved. The artworks may look unnatural, odd and awkward most of the times, but they are intentionally made and designed that way.
Many abstract creations look spontaneous, but the artists deliberately combined and arranged the elements in a certain way to make them interact dynamically with each other. That's why abstract artworks have larger rooms for interpretations from the artist and the viewer.
