Model Portraits and Marketing Changes

Many artists are applying pop art and abstract expressionism to their model portraits. More and more celebrity print ads are applied with greater artistry and creativity. The usual commercialism is no longer popular. Radical artists and photographers emphasize the uniqueness of their models' portraits to their clients to attract their discriminating and individualistic market.

Model pictures are usually catalogued by artists and photographers and sent over to their present and prospective clients. It's an effective way of marketing the services of a modeling or advertising agency. Very talented photographers and artists have made a name for themselves with their portraits of models. Most models also rely on their photographers to enhance their looks to better endorse their clients' products.

There are many portrait formats for models and celebrities - drawing, sketching, painting and photography. The earliest ones used in traditional print ads were drawn art works of nondescript housewives, husbands, children, nurses, doctors, teachers, and others with the emphasis lying on the product. However, artistic photography entered the scene as well as popular and commercial art. As advertising and fashion evolved, so did photography portraiture.

Nowadays, you can see classical black and white print ads of celebrities and models' portraits. Some of them don't even show the product itself, just the logo. Also popular are comics-like illustrations of the model or endorser with witty comic strips about the product being advertised.

If you want your favorite super models' portrait, you can buy limited edition posters, print ads, calendars at the nearest mall. You can also buy them from online dealers. But if you want to use them for print ads or business purposes, there are stock photography sites showcasing reasonably good looking model portraits.
